Acid-Alkaline Balance
The chemical factory that is the body requires a precise equilibrium of 16 basic chemicals, and correct acid-alkaline balance plays a vital role this process. Family vs CHEM 101 Success
The Bible says that the enemies of a man (or woman) will be those of their own household. How true in most cases, but not all cases. If a person has a good family, defined as helping them achieve the goals of CHEM 101, which are, Children, Health, Education, and Money, for service to God and Country, then all may well be well.
But if a person is struggling in any of these areas, or all of these areas, then the first place to look is the effect their family is having, and/or has had, on them. This is the first and usual suspect and it is more often than not the right culprit.
Family is an addictive substance, and like all addictions it can be a good one, (in the case of a good family) or a bad one in the case of a “dysfunctional” family, a family that is a proven toxic to the individual. The mechanics of the whole “family” process is complex and overwhelming, once understood, at least in part.
For one thing, the individual will try to shoehorn any new acquaintance, friend, spouse or children into the old wine bottle of their former family. They sub-consciously strive to “make” the new person in their life fit into, and just become one of, the poor family that they “left.” This often destroys the value of the new person and even drives them off, or makes them less valuable. What is the new person good for, if they are made to serve negative goals in the same way the failed family already serves. It is pouring good money after bad to misuse new people or organizations this way.
A good family is the best thing in the world, but a bad family, (and by definition most families are bad,) is the worst thing that can happen to anyone.
Try to cordon off the old failed family and let them stew in their own juices and try to build a new life with new and better people, and make a new and better family, IF YOU CAN. Doing this is not a slam dunk, but not doing it dooms the person to repeat the failure of his old family, perhaps in an even more virulent form.
The test is CHEM 101 for service to God and Country (CHEMGC). This is a very good measuring stick for your life. Many people are able to do one of the four CHEM’s plus the two servings, but few do anywhere near all six in any acceptable manner.

Fitness cannot be separated from the unfitness of the rest of our lives. We cannot fix just one wheel on the car, we have to fix all four wheels as well as all the vital parts that go to make up the car, if we are going to be able to drive the car it at all. The human (not good) tendency to want the specific quick fix, over any long term comprehensive solutions, is well, known, and I sympathize, but it is not realistic. The “specific quick fixes” come back to haunt us, or bite us on the ankle, when we least suspect, especially in the vital life and death area of our health.
As Uncle Ben (Benjamin Franklin) put it, “Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each new year find you a better man.”
We are overloaded with self-styled custodians of our welfare, like Oprah telling us how to lose weight, and her lap pet Obama telling us how to stay fit. They are perfect examples of the blind leading the blind. Between Obama sneaking puffs and Oprah splurging on bagels and cream cheese, these are surely gods that will surely fail.
The proof on Obama is to be found in his personal consumption practices, which include periodic binges of fast and fatty foods, not to speak of his nicotine fixes. Further political evidence is to be found in his choice for agriculture secretary, former Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack, whom many frown upon for his support of big agribusiness, genetically modified crops and ethanol subsidies.
Despite all this, the cult of Obama is in full swing at a place of worship called Obamafoodorama.blogspot.com, which includes such important information as Barack’s favorite trail mix and his beer of choice, the “audacity of hops.”
It is doubtful that Obama is really fit enough to be America’s next nutritional guru, but judged by the Oprah standard perhaps he is. Our youth couldn’t be in more precarious hands than these two.
Thomas Jefferson once quipped, (did he ever do anything but quip?) “Was the government to prescribe to us our medicine and diet, our bodies would be in such keeping as our souls are now.” This double meaning statement is so emblematic of the Democrat hypocrite Jefferson that I thought to pass it along for what it is worth.

Everyone Is For Sale On eBay
The sad fact is that nearly everyone on earth is for sale, lock, stock and barrel. The average Social Security recipient would gladly sell their children and grandchildren into slavery for five more dollars a month on their welfare SS check.
Does anyone know anyone who is not for sale who, in fact, is not for sale, as on eBay? Start at the top of our societal pecking order, and go clear to the bottom, look at your family and friends as well, and conclude which of them is not for sale to the highest bidder under the right circumstances.
Naturally, they are ashamed of this condition of depravity, and of course they lie non-stop every minute of every day about it, but the pitiful truth is that is just how they are. In other words nearly everyone on earth is totally without any principles that are not for sale to the highest bidder.
Groucho Marx put the matter well, as only a fool is allowed to do in our treacherous lying civilization. Professional fool Groucho said, “I have principles, and if you don’t like them, I have others.” Nothing could better describe the reality of people’s lives.
And the higher you go, all the way to the top, the more lying, treacherous, deceitful, and principleless people become. Congressmen and women are all corrupt, but the President, whoever, even more corrupt than they are.
It only makes a marginal difference which political party you are talking about, the corruption level is so nearly universal. True, Republicans are a bit more ashamed of their corruption than Democrats, who virtually revel in their filth, but still, even Republicans, present only a pitiful excuse for a principled Party of principled persons. They as eagerly sell themselves to the same businesses, churches and other greedy and principleless Special Interest organizations, as the Democrats.
Now, this is a very, very sad state of affairs, and the best we can do is at least frankly and honestly recognize, and speak out exposing it for what it is. At least we can admit, repent and speak out. We can point out corruption and sell-outs when we see them, and we can never ever give any politician, or anyone in a position of power, the benefit of the doubt when it comes to honesty.
Typical of the rush to sell-out, and cash in, is traitors like Colin Powell. A man we were almost fooled into respecting. This opportunistic bird, after sucking up to, and eating from, the Republican hog-trough for most of his life, has now put himself officially “Up for Sale.” He might as well do it on eBay, and he might as well wear a sign around his neck every day, that says, “I’m For Sale.”
Powell, is now an Obama supporter, not because he has any principles, then or now (clearly he doesn’t) but he has turned traitor because he has milked Republicans for all he thinks he can get, and now want to move on and greedily grasp onto the Democrat’s sugar tit to see what he can get there.
JC Watts is another “Black” who has now decided it is time to sell-out his “Republican Principles” and cash in on the temporary Democrat surge in popularity. If Hitler were now President he would likely fly the Nazi Swastika over his house.
And it is not just Blacks and Jews and Catholics that sell themselves to the highest bidder, it is everyone, treachery, deceit and disloyalty is an equal opportunity pig-pen.
Whites do it and Protestants just as much as they can. The only thing that slows this slave trade is the lack of buyers not the lack of sellers. Anyone we think of as an exception to this rule is a chimera, a mirage, and forked tongue double agent.
And this condition is worldwide. Everywhere, you think you see a human being pretending loyalty to Some principle, some thing, or some one, just wait a bit and you will see that same human being shamelessly prostitute himself or herself in the market place for thirty pieces of silver. They all betray every trust sooner or later.
It was these same sorts of snakes that betrayed Christ and denied him when he was on trial for his life. Not one single one of his followers including, as far as we know, his own mother, came to his defense or said one word in his behalf. They all sold out as quickly as they could for some small advantages.
Yes, there must be some few people on earth who are loyal, but they are very rare saints, outnumbered a thousand to one by disloyal traitors that overwhelmingly populate the earth. Don’t be depressed by this simple fact, just realize how our work is cut out for us if we are ever to please God or even have any self-respect.
